Jelly Roll

Just curious how many folks buy these jelly rolls that are available from any fabric store? Do you use them for what they are suppose to be used for?

I have bought several but I always end up using them in a different way. I started this one for a Christmas quilt by sewing the sides together instead of end to end.

I have done this with several alternating fabrics to create fun quilts. I don’t seem able to follow someone else’s pattern, not because I cannot follow their directions. I just seem to want to make something else from the fabrics they have chosen. This Christmas jelly roll I have put together and is in my shop if you are interested in purchasing it. I will not be offended if you choose to make something completely different from the fabric and I would love to see what your creative side chose to do instead.
